Job Title: Technical Systems Engineer
Location: Spondon, Derby
Contract Hours: 42 hours per week
Shift Pattern: This role involves working 5 shifts weekly on a rotating schedule (Monday–Sunday), encompassing a blend of day, night, and weekend shifts. Night shifts are compensated at an enhanced rate.

Overview:
Our mission is to deliver first-level support for all fulfillment systems (including WMS, WCS) at our automated production facility in Derby, with occasional assistance at our DE site in Barleben. As a member of our new warehouse software implementation team, you will collaborate cross-functionally with key stakeholders to ensure seamless warehouse operations. You will be the initial point of contact for system-related inquiries and will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated test cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide real-time support for our Warehouse Control System (WCS) and Warehouse Management System (WMS)
- Identify opportunities for operational enhancement, suggest and implement change controls, and define local reporting requirements
- Develop dashboards for system analysis and monitoring
- Continuously assess software systems, facilitating improvements through enhancements or change requests
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal development teams to address critical system issues
- Create and maintain work instructions, standard operating procedures, and training documentation as necessary
