The Mission Success team at Anduril is an interdisciplinary group that collaborates across all business lines, enhancing the performance of every product in our portfolio. Our core functions encompass product operations, user training, and the development of comprehensive user documentation. We are on the lookout for a skilled Technical Writer to create and sustain meticulous documentation that spans our varied business offerings. We uphold that the caliber of our documentation should mirror the excellence of our products, which are recognized as world-class.
ABOUT THE JOB
In the role of Technical Writer, you will collaborate closely with diverse product and operations teams to produce precise, current, and user-friendly documentation that elucidates the usage of Anduril products. Your initiative will be critical in streamlining our engineering and program delivery processes. This position requires you to engage intimately with engineers, operations personnel, and various subject matter experts to gain a deep understanding of our products, pinpoint user workflows, and leverage documentation to bridge any gaps. Your contributions will establish a benchmark for tone, voice, and quality across our written materials.
Given Anduril’s focus on defense and national security, effective user documentation is vital to empower front-line operators in utilizing the "arsenal of democracy." Your goal will be to simplify the learning curve for system operations through exceptionally crafted and presented documentation.
You will identify pertinent stakeholders and guide them through a structured documentation roadmap with defined milestones and objectives. Engaging with subject matter experts at appropriate stages, you will lead them towards the completion of user-facing documents that effectively meet customer requirements. Additionally, you will liaise with our account teams to ensure that all contract deliverables are accurate, timely, and formatted correctly.
Examples of written content you may create include technical manuals, operational guides, maintenance procedures, checklists, and templates.
