As a Telecommunications Engineer, you will play a key role in a diverse array of projects for CIMA+’s esteemed clients, delivering innovative telecom system designs and network architectures to meet essential operational requirements. Our telecommunications team collaborates with a wide range of industrial and public sector clients, including those in energy, transportation, and telecommunications, working on various wired and wireless networking applications. If you thrive in a diverse environment, this hybrid position offers the flexibility to work from our offices in Vancouver, Kelowna, Calgary, or Edmonton.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver telecom system designs and comprehensive engineering documentation for projects.
- Create detailed schematics and design diagrams.
- Draft project scopes, proposals, estimates, and budgets.
- Prepare and review engineering documents, specifications, and inspection/testing procedures.
- Generate bills of materials and support procurement processes.
- Coordinate and plan installation and commissioning activities with clients and contractors.
- Travel to project sites, collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Address information requests from sites and complete project documentation, including record drawings and calculations.
