About the role:
As a part of our Payroll team, which sits at the intersection of people and numbers, your role will be crucial in ensuring timely and accurate payroll for every employee. Our detail-oriented team prides itself on navigating complex payroll scenarios, maintaining compliance, and developing scalable processes. We work collaboratively and supportively, sharing a commitment to excellence in our work.
We seek an experienced Payroll Accountant to join us temporarily, supporting our payroll functions during a pivotal time. You will hit the ground running, engaging in vital reconciliations, journal entries, and reporting tasks, while also assisting with our Canadian payroll operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned payroll professional looking for impactful contract work within a dynamic team.
This position is remote, but we encourage applicants from eastern or central time zones to align with our working hours.
What you’ll do:
- Prepare payroll-related journal entries and record them in NetSuite
- Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations in Blackline, addressing variances within 30 days
- Accurately reconcile and document payroll-related cash transactions
