Job Title: Tendering Engineer / Tender Manager – EHV Transmission Lines

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Tendering Engineer / Tender Manager to spearhead the complete tendering process for international EHV transmission line projects ranging from 132kV to 765kV. The successful candidate will possess substantial experience in multilateral-funded projects and demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of international tendering practices. This role demands effective cross-functional collaboration, strong commercial insight, and the capability to manage extensive tender submissions under stringent deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the entire tendering process from inception to submission for EHV transmission line projects.
Review tender documents, interpret client requirements, and create competitive and compliant bid strategies.
Collaborate with engineering, commercial, procurement, and legal teams to consolidate inputs for comprehensive techno-commercial bids.
Draft BOQs, cost estimates, and technical/commercial proposals in adherence to tender specifications.
Create and manage complex spreadsheets and pricing models utilizing MS Excel / Advanced Excel.
Assess tenders from both a technical and commercial standpoint, identifying risks, opportunities, and discrepancies.
Ensure all bid documents are meticulously compiled, formatted, and submitted on time.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders, OEMs, subcontractors, and clients to collect necessary information and clarify technical inquiries.
Establish and nurture strong working relationships with clients, contractors, funding agencies, and key suppliers.
Maintain current knowledge of international bidding standards, particularly for projects financed by multilateral development banks (e.g., World Bank, ADB, AfDB).
