Job Summary
We are in search of a motivated and skilled professional to join our team as a Territory Business Manager. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving sales for our pharmaceutical products within your designated territory. Your responsibilities will include gathering market insights, conducting prescription audits, and executing sales strategies to meet and exceed sales goals. You will also handle inquiries from healthcare professionals, nurture customer relationships, and maintain precise territory data management.
Roles & Responsibilities
• Understand and analyze market trends and competitive landscapes by gathering information from stockists and chemists, and report findings to the Sales Business Manager (SBM) or Regional Sales Manager (RSM).
• Conduct Retail Chemist Prescription Audits (RCPA) to identify potential high-prescribers in your area and provide a list of doctors to the SBM/RSM for sales forecasting.
• Participate in relevant training programs to remain updated on product literature.
• Collect sales target and promotion budget details from SBM/RSM.
• Utilize the allocated budget effectively to plan launch activities for doctors, camps, or Continuing Medical Education (CME) sessions in your territory.
• Deliver compelling sales presentations to doctors to promote our products.
• Submit reimbursement claims to SBM/RSM.
• Implement marketing strategies as directed by the Product Manager.
• Gather Point of Business (POB) information from chemists and coordinate with stockists to ensure timely product delivery.
• Track and monitor sales of new products to achieve designated sales targets.
• Collect and manage queries from doctors regarding both new and existing products.
• Log queries into the system for the Infogini team’s review.
• Utilize responses from Infogini to resolve doctors' queries and enhance prescription rates.
• Maintain regular engagement with doctors to understand their prescription patterns.
• Communicate prescription trend data to the SBM/RSM.
• Track specific customer needs and relay feedback to the Area Sales Manager (ASM), SBM/RSM, or Head Office (HO).
• Prepare lists of doctors for all CME events and submit to SBM/RSM to foster strong relationships and loyalty.
• Keep the data on doctor lists, route maps, retailers, and supply chain updated.
