Qualifications
A relevant engineering degree, such as electrical power engineering or electronics, is required, or you may be in the final stages of your studies. Alternatively, you may have a background as an electrical installer or technician with relevant work experience.The Test Engineer role demands persistence and a goal-oriented approach, coupled with a keen interest in the electrical safety and compliance of tested equipment. Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills are essential for effective client collaboration.General knowledge of electrical standards and prior experience in testing or design roles in electrical or power electronics will be advantageous, as will familiarity with testing equipment. Proficiency in Finnish at a moderate level and fluent English is required, as reporting primarily occurs in English.

We are currently seeking two temporary Test Engineers to join our testing laboratory located in Pitäjänmäki, Helsinki. You will be part of the Energy Transmission and Control Products team, focusing on testing frequency converters.
This team specializes in ensuring the safety and compliance of various connectors, switches, cables, and transformers. In this role, you will primarily engage in electrical safety testing of frequency converters, with the practical testing mainly performed by our clients. Your core responsibilities will include verifying the compliance of customer-provided test reports and other documents, as well as collaborating with clients throughout the project lifecycle. Additionally, you will also conduct some practical testing in our own laboratory.
This is a weekday role with flexible working hours, primarily based in our office. After an initial period of familiarization, occasional remote work may also be possible. The employment contract is temporary, lasting until the end of 2026.
