We are on the lookout for a driven and hands-on Validation & Verification (V&V) Engineer to serve as the final quality assurance gate for our battery and charging systems. This pivotal position requires a comprehensive testing approach, covering everything from individual battery cells and power electronics to complete system evaluations. You will play a crucial role in guaranteeing that our products surpass stringent performance, safety, and regulatory standards.
Your Daily Responsibilities Will Include:
System Validation & Testing: Strategically plan and execute validation and verification tests for battery and charging systems (including Battery Management Systems and power electronics), from cell level to full system assessments.
Reliability & Environmental Testing: Perform reliability, environmental, and EMC testing (e.g., HALT/HASS, temperature and humidity assessments) to ensure exceptional performance in real-world scenarios.
Failure Analysis: Analyze field failures, replicate issues in the laboratory, and support root cause investigations to enhance design and process efficiency.
Test Automation & Infrastructure: Create and maintain automated testing protocols and configure testing environments (e.g., DAQ systems, sensors, Hardware-in-the-Loop setups).
Engineering Collaboration & Reporting: Collaborate closely with engineering teams, assess and document test outcomes, and derive actionable improvements.
