About the Role
We are excited to announce a new opportunity for a Texture Artist within our team. In this pivotal role, you will bring our CG creatures and hard-surface models to life by crafting a diverse array of high-quality texture maps essential for production.
As a Texture Artist, you will work closely with the Modelling, Look Development, and Environment teams to deliver photo-real assets for prestigious visual effects projects.
In this position, you will:
Create exceptional texture maps that align with your expertise and the project’s requirements.
Collaborate with the CG Supervisor and Lead Texture/Lookdev Artists to achieve the desired aesthetic for characters and hard-surface assets.
Ensure clear and consistent communication with Lookdev, Modelling, Environment, and Production teams.
Conduct quality assurance checks on texture maps prior to publishing to maintain consistency and accuracy.
Adhere to agreed schedules and deadlines while upholding the highest standards of quality.
Keep Production and Leads updated on progress, challenges, and timelines for delivery.
Contribute to team knowledge by sharing workflow tips, techniques, and reference materials.
Stay informed about new tools, software, and emerging technologies relevant to texture artistry.
