Your Role as a Theatrical Distribution Intern:
As a Theatrical Distribution Intern, you will support our team with daily operations related to film distribution to theaters. Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating shipping timelines and tracking film prints for timely theater delivery.
- Researching marketing and distribution strategies to understand the competitive landscape; preparing decks for case studies of successful releases.
- Assisting with box office report data entry, invoicing, and maintaining release calendars.
- Conducting outreach for grassroots marketing initiatives for current and upcoming NEON films.
- Maintaining a contact catalog for non-theatrical sales.
- Communicating with exhibitors regarding their in-theater marketing requirements.
- Performing routine checks at key LA cinemas.
- Attending Q&A screenings and liaising with theater managers on-site.
- Supporting event screenings to ensure NEON’s professional presence.
- Providing general administrative support and managing shipping tasks.
- Staying abreast of trends and best practices in theatrical distribution.
