What will you be doing?
To guarantee safety on the tracks, preventative maintenance is carried out throughout the Netherlands. Teams are assembled for various regions, each bringing their unique talents; including teams focused on Signal Technology, Overhead Lines, Track, and Power Supply. As a Track Maintenance Manager, you will ensure that the railway track meets the established quality and safety standards. You will monitor potential disruptions and, when necessary, resolve these issues as quickly as possible or coordinate with the appropriate colleagues.
What does your training path look like?
You will be mentored by your buddy (an experienced manager) in executing maintenance tasks and inspections;
You will learn how to prevent and rectify disruptions to the railway track and what materials, equipment, and personnel are needed;
You will perform inspections within the management area and ensure that everything is documented digitally;
You will participate in various training sessions to gain knowledge about the railway system, including safety training;
You will learn how to read central analyses and convert them into work and/or laying plans.
As you progress in your training, you will also gain experience in other management areas and may be involved in large replacement projects.
Who are you?
You have an interest in technology;
You are available for a minimum of 32 hours per week;
You are eager to continue developing yourself and are willing to undergo an internal training program;
You enjoy irregular hours for extra income and more personal time;
You possess at least MBO level 2/3/4;
You hold a valid driver's license;
You enjoy working as part of a team;
You value safety, sustainability, and craftsmanship.
What do you get in return?
A one-year contract with the intention to extend to an indefinite period;
