Join AWP Safety as a Traffic Control Flagger, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring safety at job sites. No prior experience or degree is required—what matters most is your commitment to safety. We provide comprehensive training and unwavering support to help you launch a fulfilling career in traffic management.
Your daily responsibilities will include:
Setting up and dismantling traffic control devices such as cones, signs, and barricades.
Utilizing a stop/slow paddle to manage traffic flow while actively monitoring the job site.
Adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines learned during training.
Maintaining clear communication with your crew and supervisors.
Ensuring vehicles and equipment are kept clean and in safe working order.
Working outdoors year-round in various weather conditions.
Flexibility in shifts, including potential night, weekend, or emergency assignments.
Standing or walking for 8 to 12 hours per shift.
We provide essential safety gear including a hard hat, safety goggles, vest, whistle, and walkie-talkie; you will need to supply your own steel-toe safety boots that rise above the ankle.
