Join our dedicated team as a Traffic Control Flagger at AWP Safety! No prior experience or degree is required, and we prioritize safety above all else. Our comprehensive training will equip you with the necessary skills to succeed in this vital role.
Your daily responsibilities will include:
Setting up and dismantling cones, signs, and barricades for effective traffic control.
Utilizing a stop/slow paddle to direct traffic while monitoring both traffic flow and job site activities.
Adhering to all safety regulations as taught during training.
Maintaining clear communication with your crew and supervisor.
Ensuring that vehicles and equipment are kept clean and properly maintained.
Working outdoors throughout the year and in various weather conditions.
Flexibility in your schedule is essential, as shifts may include nights, weekends, or emergency responses.
You may be required to stand or walk for 8 to 12 hours during your shifts.
We provide essential safety gear including hard hats, safety goggles, vests, whistles, and cold/hot weather clothing, but you will need to bring your own steel-toe safety boots that reach above your ankles.
