As a Traffic Control Flagger, your daily responsibilities will include:
Setting up and removing cones, signs, and barricades to ensure safe traffic flow.
Utilizing a stop/slow paddle to direct traffic and monitor site activities.
Adhering to all safety protocols learned during training.
Effectively communicating with your crew and supervisor to maintain safety standards.
Assisting in the upkeep of vehicles and equipment to ensure cleanliness and safety.
Working outdoors year-round, regardless of weather conditions.
Understanding that shifts may vary based on job requirements, with some night, weekend, or emergency work possible.
Being prepared to stand or walk for 8 to 12 hours during shifts.
Receiving essential safety gear from us, including a hard hat, goggles, safety vest, whistle, walkie-talkie, and weather gear; you need to provide your own steel-toe safety boots that cover the ankle.
