Join our dedicated team at AWP Safety as a Traffic Control Flagger, where your role is crucial in ensuring the safety of both workers and the public at various job sites. No prior experience or degree is required, as we prioritize safety above all and provide comprehensive training to support your career growth.
Your daily responsibilities will include:
Setting up and dismantling traffic control equipment such as cones, signs, and barricades.
Utilizing a stop/slow paddle to efficiently direct traffic while remaining vigilant about site activity.
Adhering to all safety protocols as instructed during training.
Maintaining clear communication with your team and supervisor.
Ensuring vehicles and equipment are kept clean and secure.
Working outdoors year-round, regardless of weather conditions.
Flexibility in your schedule is required, as shifts may vary based on job needs, including nights, weekends, or emergency responses.
Be prepared to stand or walk for up to 12 hours during shifts.
We provide essential safety gear, including a hard hat, goggles, vest, whistle, walkie-talkie, and weather-appropriate clothing. You will need to supply your own steel-toe safety boots that extend above the ankle.
