Join the AWP Safety team as a Traffic Control Flagger, where your safety and career development are our top priorities! No prior experience or degree is necessary; we provide comprehensive training and ongoing support to help you succeed.
Your daily responsibilities will include:
Setting up and dismantling traffic control equipment such as cones, signs, and barricades.
Utilizing a stop/slow paddle to direct traffic while monitoring the job site.
Adhering to all safety protocols learned during training.
Communicating effectively with your crew and supervisor.
Maintaining cleanliness and safety of vehicles and equipment.
Working outdoors in various weather conditions throughout the year.
Flexibility in shifts, including potential night, weekend, or emergency work as needed.
Ability to stand or walk for 8 to 12 hours during your shifts.
We provide safety gear including a hard hat, goggles, vest, whistle, walkie-talkie, and seasonal weather apparel; you are required to have your own steel-toe boots.
