Join AWP Safety as a Traffic Control Flagger, where you will be an essential part of our team, ensuring safety at job sites. No prior experience or degree is required; we are dedicated to your training and career development. Your safety is our top priority.
In this role, your daily responsibilities will include:
Setting up and dismantling cones, signs, and barricades for effective traffic control.
Utilizing a stop/slow paddle to direct traffic and monitor job site activities.
Adhering to all safety protocols as taught during training.
Communicating effectively with crew members and supervisors.
Maintaining cleanliness and safety of vehicles and equipment.
Working outdoors in varying weather conditions throughout the year.
Flexibility is key as shifts may include nights, weekends, or emergency work as needed.
Be prepared to stand or walk for 8 to 12 hours during your shifts.
We provide a hard hat, safety goggles, vest, whistle, walkie-talkie, and weather gear; you will need to bring your own steel-toe boots.
