ROLE OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE
As a Training Manager at ABM Industries, you will play a crucial role in enhancing business performance through targeted training initiatives for our operational and supervisory staff. Your contributions will directly influence employee development and compliance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Ensuring accurate and updated learning and development training records and “Skills Matrices” for compliance.
· Maintaining training records and necessary documentation.
· Overseeing driver vetting processes, including documentation management.
· Designing, implementing, and concluding comprehensive ABM training programs, such as PRM, Cobus, Driver/ADP, and Required AvSec Training, ensuring adherence to ABM QA standards.
· Providing hands-on guidance and support to the Ramp Trainer for effective learning.
· Integrating relevant policies and manuals into operational training materials to facilitate employee training.
· Delivering operational security training, including on-the-job coaching and mentoring, and offering constructive feedback to improve performance.
· Developing and conducting aviation security courses, complete with supporting documents and lesson plans, compliant with CAA/Dft regulations.
· Facilitating H&S/Driving courses in alignment with RoSPA/IOSH standards.
· Collaborating with stakeholders to innovate and enhance training methodologies.
· Supporting the development and implementation of digital learning solutions.
· Identifying best practices in training to ensure consistency and synergy across business units.
