Transformation Lead

The Opportunity
Join Focus Group, a technology services company with a revenue of £300 million, backed by Hg Capital, as we embark on an ambitious Value Creation Plan aimed at enhancing our operational platform and driving growth. We are looking for a Transformation Lead to oversee specific VCP initiatives and play a pivotal role in coordinating our transformation portfolio.
This role offers a fantastic opportunity for an individual with 5-6 years of consulting or a combination of consulting and operational experience, looking to transition from purely advisory work into impactful project delivery.
The Role
As the Transformation Lead, your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the execution of assigned VCP initiatives from design through implementation and quantifiable value realization.
- Developing and implementing change management strategies and execution plans to enhance employee and customer adoption of your initiative portfolio.
- Facilitating cross-functional stakeholder engagement, managing timelines, and removing obstacles to ensure successful delivery.
- Maintaining a structured transformation governance cadence, including working groups, steering committees, and progress tracking.
- Preparing board materials, management reports, and executive summaries detailing initiative progress and benefits realization.
- Collaborating with the DSP to monitor KPIs, lead indicators, and program health metrics across the VCP portfolio.
- Assisting the DSP in managing the broader VCP roadmap and prioritizing initiatives.
- Contributing to the development of transformation capabilities and best practices throughout Focus Group.
What You'll Bring
Essential Qualifications:
- 5-6 years of experience in management consulting, or a combination of consulting and corporate transformation roles.
- Proven track record of delivering cross-functional change initiatives with measurable results.
- Strong program management skills, including stakeholder engagement, timeline coordination, and risk management.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to create concise board-level materials and influence senior stakeholders.
- Commercial acumen and the capability to connect initiatives to business value and financial outcomes.
- Analytical problem-solving abilities, comfortable with using data to inform decisions.
- A proactive mindset, capable of balancing strategic insight with hands-on execution.
