Education: Completion of an accredited program in diagnostic medical sonography.Certification/License:ARDMS certification in Abdomen and OB/GYN is mandatory.Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification is preferred.American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Sonography is required.Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification is necessary.Experience: 1-2 years in a similar role is preferred.

Acquire high-quality ultrasound images for radiological assessments.
Engage in direct patient care and ensure a compassionate approach.
Assist with departmental tasks, including visual equipment checks and maintaining room supplies.
Collaborate with Radiologists and Primary Care Physicians to clarify exam details.
Utilize Epic and Merge software to initiate patient studies and transmit images efficiently.
Travel Requirements: Occasional travel to Carroll, Marshalltown, and Ames may be required.
