POSITION OVERVIEW
As an Underwriter I, you will embark on a rewarding journey of learning and professional growth. Following your training, you will apply essential underwriting principles to assess new and renewal business, adhering to established guidelines. You will assist senior underwriters in nurturing agency relationships, evaluate policy endorsements, handle transactions accurately, and provide exceptional customer service. As you gain experience, the complexity and volume of your accounts will expand.
ONSITE REQUIREMENT
This hybrid role begins with onsite training. Upon successful completion, you will work a minimum of three days a week at our Walnut Creek, CA office.
TEAM COLLABORATION
You will rely on established guidelines and your judgment to execute your responsibilities effectively. Working closely with your team and independently, you will leverage your strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring we deliver the highest level of service. Your actions will always align with company policies and pertinent laws.
