Your Role:
Pearce Services Canada is on the lookout for a dedicated UPS Field Technician to serve Montreal and the surrounding areas. This role requires a commitment to excellence and a passion for acquiring new skills. As a Technician, you will provide onsite preventive, corrective, and restorative maintenance for critical power systems, including UPS, DC systems, inverters, PDUs, STS, and standalone reserve battery technologies. Embracing a proactive and creative approach, you will deliver timely and effective solutions to meet our customers' needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Commissioning, maintaining, and providing emergency services and repairs for UPS systems at customer sites.
- Performing battery replacements, load testing, and battery maintenance as needed.
- Assisting in the creation of Methods of Procedures (MOP) when required.
- Engaging in regular training sessions at the company headquarters and utilizing test equipment to enhance troubleshooting skills.
- Collaborating with in-house and OEM technical support to resolve equipment maintenance or operational issues.
- Maintaining effective communication with customer site personnel regarding onsite or equipment-related matters.
