The Utility Construction Inspector plays a vital role in overseeing utility construction projects related to natural gas, electric, telecommunications, and municipal infrastructure. This position is responsible for ensuring that all construction activities adhere to safety regulations, approved plans, specifications, and all relevant federal, state, local, and company standards. The inspector acts as a third-party representative for the utility or facility owner, significantly contributing to public safety, infrastructure integrity, and project quality.
