- Formulate and execute strategies to ensure timely power delivery to development sites, supporting current and future leases.
- Participate in the diligence team to assess utility capacity feasibility for prospective new sites.
- Manage relationships with partners and consultants involved in electrical substation design and construction.
- Lead initiatives to standardize utility substation design, including distribution feeds to multiple buildings.
- Oversee budgeting and cost forecasting for utility projects, encompassing construction and equipment.
- Develop specifications for transformers and related equipment.
- Procure long lead substation equipment and transformers.
- Simultaneously manage the construction of multiple substation sites.
- Monitor and report on the status and schedule of power delivery timelines.
- A minimum of five years of experience in medium/high voltage construction management.
- At least five years of experience managing multiple concurrent projects or related professional experience.
- Familiarity with substation industry partners and transformer manufacturers.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time as required to support projects.
- Proven experience working directly with executives and effectively collaborating across all organizational levels.
- Over ten years of experience in electrical substation design or construction.
- Registered electrician engineer with a focus on MV/HV work.
- Technical proficiency in High and Medium Voltage Electrical Design.
- Experience managing a large portfolio of work.
