With over ten million rides provided through its fully autonomous ride-hail service, the Waymo Driver has driven more than 100 million miles on public roads and completed extensive simulations across 15+ U.S. states.
At Waymo, design encompasses the entire user experience—it’s about how our products look, function, and feel while ensuring that our cutting-edge technology is accessible and beneficial for all. Our team is responsible for creating intuitive and enjoyable experiences for riders, as well as powerful tools for fleet operations and engineers developing the Waymo Driver. Our multidisciplinary team consists of UX Designers, User and Market Researchers, UX Engineers, Content Designers, Industrial Designers, CAD Designers, Studio Engineers, and Technical Artists, all committed to understanding the diverse attitudes, emotions, and behaviors of our users, which serve as the foundation for our innovations.
