Reporting directly to the Valet Parking Manager, your key functions will encompass:
- Warmly greeting guests and team members, ensuring a professional and hospitable environment
- Creating a memorable arrival and departure experience for all guests
- Maintaining balanced cash registers and addressing any discrepancies responsibly
- Conducting thorough audits at the end of each shift, including necessary documentation
- Efficiently delegating guest car retrieval requests to valet attendants
- Organizing keys and valet tickets systematically for quick access
- Training and mentoring staff to uphold the highest service standards
- Conducting vehicle damage inspections and ensuring proper documentation on valet tickets
- Completing Job Task Checklists promptly
- Resolving guest complaints effectively to enhance overall satisfaction
- Facilitating monthly staff meetings to promote communication and teamwork
- Ensuring vehicle keys are securely stored and easily identifiable
- Maintaining accurate records of daily vehicle volumes and special event vehicles
- Providing guests with detailed parking charge information and receipts
- Ensuring smooth traffic flow in entrance areas for arrivals and departures
- Offering information about hotel amenities, local transportation, and attractions
- Assisting in emergency situations in accordance with hotel protocols
- Collaborating with staff to secure guest and employee safety by reporting suspicious activities.
