About the job
Join the CVX Venture Scout Programme
If you're passionate about identifying investment opportunities and making impactful contributions to growth-oriented companies, we invite you to become our next Venture Scout. Please note that this is not a full-time position; compensation will be based on successful outcomes.
About the Role
The CVX Venture Scout Programme aims to cultivate a community of exceptional VC scouts who will help us identify promising investment prospects within their areas of expertise. This role offers an opportunity to develop critical venture capital skills, engage with innovative founders across various markets, and play a part in shaping the entrepreneurial landscape.
As a Venture Scout, you'll collaborate with our Investment Team to pinpoint exciting startups, engage in discussions with them, and conduct thorough research encompassing their teams, market dynamics, and competitive landscape. Your research will culminate in a concise 1-2 page proposal memo outlining your investment thesis, which you may present to the CVX Investment Team, either in-person or virtually.
What We Expect
Our goal with the Venture Scout Programme is not only to uncover outstanding investment opportunities but also to gain insight into your vision and approach. This role serves as an invaluable introduction to the VC ecosystem, equipping you with essential skills while allowing you to demonstrate your analytical thinking regarding investments. As we expand our Investment Team, the Venture Scout Programme will be a primary source for recruitment.
Compensation Structure
We believe in rewarding valuable contributions. Therefore, you will receive compensation when a deal you championed secures funding from our network of investors, with potential for financial upside as well.
Our Mission
CVX is among Europe's fastest-growing venture capital firms dedicated to empowering ambitious growth companies to realize their full potential through investment, expertise, and networking. We are committed to the belief that effective investors not only provide capital but also share valuable knowledge, experiences, and connections tailored to the specific needs of each company's stage and industry.
