Position Overview:
Algolia is seeking a dynamic and talented Vice President of Sales to spearhead and scale our sales operations across the AMER region. In this pivotal leadership role, you will define and implement the go-to-market strategy, build a high-performing sales team, and drive substantial revenue growth. Your leadership will be crucial in expanding our market presence, managing both direct and channel sales, and influencing the future trajectory of Algolia in this vibrant region.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Regional Sales Leadership: Oversee all sales activities in the AMER region, driving growth and expanding market share. Ensure sales strategies align with the company's overarching goals while balancing both short-term and long-term growth targets.
- Go-to-Market Strategy: Define and own the sales strategy for the AMER region. Develop and execute plans to capture new business, enhance customer retention, and promote product adoption while aligning with global initiatives. You will craft segment-specific strategies to be accountable for AMER revenue from SMB to Strategic accounts.
- Sales Process Optimization: Establish and refine scalable, repeatable sales processes to accelerate growth. Optimize the entire customer journey, from acquisition to retention, ensuring a seamless transition at every touchpoint.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, customer success, and other departments to enhance the effectiveness of sales initiatives. Foster alignment across the region, ensuring that all teams collaborate effectively to meet shared goals.
- Forecasting & Target Achievement: Lead the forecasting process for the region, ensuring predictable and consistent sales performance.
- Strategic Growth Initiatives: Develop and execute a strategic vision for AMER, identifying expansion opportunities and collaborating closely with leadership to drive growth.
