The Role
Angel City FC is in search of a commercially savvy and strategic Vice President of Ticketing to spearhead the club’s ticketing strategies and oversee our sales and service teams.
This pivotal leader will manage ticket sales and service operations for season ticket memberships, premium seating, and group sales, with an emphasis on renewals, retention, and maximizing long-term value for our fans.
A key objective of this role will be to nurture talent, enhance our sales culture, and establish clear pathways for performance and career advancement within the ticketing team.
The VP of Ticketing will closely collaborate with teams across Marketing, Data Strategy & Insights, Partnerships, Event Operations, and the BMO Stadium ticket operations team to transform fan insights into actionable strategies throughout the season.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the club’s ticketing business, including season ticket memberships, premium seating, group sales, and the long-term revenue strategy.
- Develop and implement the annual ticketing business plan, encompassing forecasting, budgeting, pricing strategies, product mix, and sales targets.
- Lead initiatives in dynamic pricing, yield management, and inventory strategy to optimize attendance, accessibility, and revenue.
- Formulate and execute strategies for long-term season member growth, retention, and upgrades, focusing on fan lifetime value.
- Act as the business owner of the ticketing CRM strategy and pipeline management in collaboration with the Data Strategy & Insights team.
- Partner with Marketing to devise the single match ticket strategy, ensuring robust demand generation, campaign alignment, and high conversion rates.
- Convert fan insights into effective sales, pricing, and product strategies.
- Build and lead a high-performing ticket sales and service team dedicated to renewals, retention, and enhancing the season ticket member experience.
- Serve as the primary business liaison for ticketing partners (including Ticketmaster, LAFC, Legends, SuitePro, etc.) and coordinate with stadium ticket operations to provide a seamless matchday experience.
- Deliver forecasting, insights, and strategic recommendations to the Chief Revenue Officer while contributing to the broader commercial strategy of the club.
