The Video Partnerships Manager plays a pivotal role within the Video Partnerships team, overseeing national video purchasing activities. Key responsibilities include negotiating video buys, reviewing preliminary and final delivery reports, and assessing performance metrics. This leadership position involves mentoring team members, fostering their development, evaluating their performance, and driving their professional growth. You will also focus on cultivating robust client relationships and proactively seek out innovative partnership opportunities beyond conventional paid media.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary support for the Associate Director in managing client relationships.
- Work collaboratively with various internal teams to meet and exceed client KPIs.
- Prepare status reports for client meetings, including email recommendations and buying presentations.
- Develop and articulate Points of View (POVs) for selected opportunities that benefit clients.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the client’s business landscape and their competitors to identify media and advertising needs.
- Guide and mentor team members, ensuring effective negotiations to achieve maximum value and efficiency.
- Manage media negotiations across multiple channels while collaborating with partners for promotional opportunities.
- Keep abreast of programming trends and marketplace conditions to enhance negotiating strategies.
