Position Overview
The History Teacher will lead students through an exploration of human history, focusing particularly on Western civilization and the American founding. Instruction will highlight narrative history, primary source analysis, and thoughtful inquiry into the philosophical and political ideas that have shaped societies.
Students will scrutinize historical events, texts, and institutions to gain a deeper understanding of cultural, governmental, and civic evolution. The teacher will encourage historical comprehension while prompting reflection on enduring questions of liberty, justice, and civic duty.
Instruction should integrate narrative teaching, document analysis, and discussion to promote historical literacy and critical thought.
Please note that while this position is entirely online, occasional travel for in-person state testing and student events will be required throughout the year.
Eligibility: Open to residents of Texas.
