About the Role
As a Visual Development Artist, you will play a crucial role in minimizing costly iterations within our Film division by producing compelling images and sequences that address creative inquiries regarding asset designs and builds, including characters, props, vehicles, environments, and effects. Your work will help in establishing the mood for shots while ensuring efficient integration of creative feedback into actual asset and shot builds.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with the Head of Department (HOD), supervisors, and clients to produce efficient, photorealistic imagery while constructing assets and scenes using both 2D and 3D software packages, addressing creative and technical queries throughout asset, shot, and sequence development.
Assist supervisors in articulating their vision for assets, shots, and sequences to clients through original designs and strong visual references.
Provide support to team members on both technical and artistic challenges.
Operate under tight deadlines, delivering frequent outputs as necessary.
Facilitate rapid approvals on visual styles to allow downstream departments ample time for appropriate builds.
Work collaboratively with other departments and HODs to ensure that all aspects from the visual development process are incorporated into complete builds.
