About the Role: As a Visual Merchandiser at H&M, you will play a pivotal role in creating an inspiring shopping environment that encourages our customers to explore their personal style. You will collaborate closely with the store team to deliver an exceptional customer experience that aligns with the H&M brand values. Your responsibility will include driving sales through effective visual merchandising and implementing our visual identity in the store. The Visual Merchandiser will consistently meet the expectations of customers and colleagues while following H&M's procedures and standards.
This position reports to the Visual Merchandising Manager or Store Manager, depending on store volume.
Your Daily Tasks:
Sales and Profitability
As a Visual Merchandiser, you will set up clothing displays on the sales floor and in windows according to the commercial guide. Collaborating with the department manager, you will identify additional business opportunities within the store while adhering to H&M’s brand guidelines. You will execute merchandising changes based on collective decisions.
Fashion Knowledge
- Stay updated on current fashion trends.
- Share, inspire, and educate the store team on seasonal trends, upcoming campaigns, and brand standards.
Customer Service
- Ensure customer service standards are met, in line with H&M guidelines.
- Support the store team to provide an outstanding customer experience.
Indirect Customer Service
- Maintain H&M's visual identity by implementing the commercial guide and ensuring mannequins in windows and the store are well arranged.
- Create a cohesive narrative between window displays and the sales area with outfit suggestions.
- Ensure high-quality daily presentation of clothing in collaboration with the store team.
- Facilitate customer flow through well-placed accessories and navigation in accordance with H&M standards.
- Initiate and sustain all campaigns and business activities within set timelines and H&M’s standards.
