We are seeking a skilled VMware Virtualization Engineer with 5-7 years of experience to take on a pivotal role in our Technical Escalation Process. This position requires a leader who can effectively communicate with customer teams as well as internal departments to resolve technical issues and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will possess robust knowledge in Virtualization technologies, particularly VMware, and will be responsible for maintaining managed Storage and Backup operations. You will lead efforts to return systems to operational status and drive proactive issue prevention initiatives.
Your responsibilities will include supporting and troubleshooting complex VMware issues in diverse environments, managing technical action plans that span multiple teams, and facilitating communication between technical teams, customers, and partners. The role will require you to demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure, including after-hours support as needed.
Additionally, you will create opportunities for skill enhancement within your team, propose process improvements, and collaborate with various stakeholders to isolate and resolve technical issues promptly.
