Position Overview:
As a Warehouse Associate at Rexel USA, your compensation will be determined by your experience and skills. This role is essential for accurately and efficiently processing customer orders, managing inventory, and maintaining the branch's safety and operational standards. You will oversee all warehouse transactions and ensure the upkeep of our facility and equipment.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Fostering a culture that prioritizes employee safety and a secure work environment.
- Adhering to Standard Operating Procedures and Environmental Health and Safety guidelines, addressing safety concerns proactively.
- Receiving and verifying incoming materials against packing lists, ensuring accuracy in quantity and description.
- Organizing stock on shelves and reporting any freight damage.
- Preparing and shipping branch orders, ensuring the correct items are dispatched.
- Handling shipping paperwork, including verifying merchandise accuracy and following customer shipping instructions.
- Operating warehouse machinery such as forklifts and reach trucks as required.
- Loading products onto vehicles for transport.
- Conducting equipment inspections and performing minor maintenance.
- Executing inventory counts and resolving discrepancies.
- Delivering materials to branches or customers as needed.
- Assisting with various warehouse tasks and performing other duties as assigned.
