As a pivotal member of our wealth management team, the Wealth Planning Analyst role serves as an excellent foundation for those aspiring to become licensed financial advisors. This position is designed to support licensed advisors by managing client meetings, conducting in-depth research, preparing comprehensive financial plans, and ensuring seamless follow-up activities essential for optimal client wealth management. The Wealth Planning Analyst will develop strong technical, analytical, and customer service skills while on their journey to becoming a licensed advisor.
Key Responsibilities:
· Engage with clients by providing initial support, addressing inquiries, assisting with account access, and clearly explaining reports and statements.
· Facilitate various client service activities, including preparing necessary documentation, coordinating money transfers, and handling account maintenance requests.
· Provide additional support to Client Service Associates during the onboarding process, ensuring all account documentation is accurate and submitted in a timely manner.
· Organize and coordinate logistics for client meetings, both in-person and virtual.
· Create meeting agendas, gather supporting materials, and ensure advisors are fully prepared for client interactions.
· Actively participate in client meetings by taking detailed notes, documenting action items, and supporting follow-up tasks.
· Collect and structure client financial data—including assets, liabilities, income, and expenses—to aid in advisor analysis.
· Input client data into financial planning software and draft initial financial plans under the guidance of licensed advisors.
· Assist in creating financial projections and scenario analyses for advisor review.
· Conduct research on portfolio holdings, performance metrics, fees, and asset allocation using approved resources.
· Prepare comprehensive reports and summaries of research findings to support advisor recommendations.
