Work Schedule: Monday to Friday
Rotating Shift every 2 weeks: Day: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM - Night: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure complete Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is worn before entering the plant.
- Attend daily safety meetings.
- Inspect pending pieces at the workstation, noting quantity and type.
- Position pieces at the workstation using hoists or cranes as necessary.
- Regularly check and clean the welding torch to avoid blockages caused by debris.
- Weld missing parts and flip pieces using the crane or hoist for further welding.
- Repair defects like porosity on both sides using air arc welding and clean with a pneumatic hammer before re-welding.
- Polish any excess welds using a grinder and clean up with a pneumatic hammer.
- Manually replace welding rolls as needed.
- Mark completed pieces with the welder's initials for identification.
- Properly place finished parts using hoists or cranes on designated racks.
- Implement the 5S methodology in the workspace: Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain.
- Substitute for the crane operator to supply pieces to welders and painters.
- Participate in continuous improvement events such as Kaizen.
