Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:A valid Driving License and access to a vehicle.Good basic education, including GCSEs in Maths and English or equivalent qualifications.Demonstrated commitment to continual professional development.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.Desirable Qualifications:Relevant qualifications in offender rehabilitation, such as criminology, criminal justice, social care, mental health, IAG, family services, emotional wellbeing, or social inclusion.

Join our dedicated team as a Wellbeing Practitioner within the Personal Wellbeing service, serving the Thames Valley region. This role is commissioned by HMPPS and is centered on empowering adult male ex-offenders through various support pathways:

- Emotional Wellbeing Services
- Social Inclusion
Key Responsibilities
- Assist service users in developing effective emotional management strategies and deliver skills training to enhance self-confidence and access appropriate support.
- Facilitate service users' involvement in daily activities, advocating for their needs alongside multi-agency partners to engage with mental health teams and support groups.
- Collaborate with our team to fulfill the objectives of our Justice Business Plan, focusing on innovation, revitalization, and reform in delivering Justice Services.
This position requires close collaboration with delivery partners, HMPPS, the voluntary sector, and other criminal justice organizations to effectively promote and deliver our services, ensuring we meet the necessary outputs and outcomes.
