Key Responsibilities
As a Wholesale Merchandising Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the planning and product strategies for our Wholesale division. Collaborating closely with Sales, Buying, and Finance teams, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the Merchandiser in implementing annual and seasonal strategies for the Wholesale business, focusing on product range, pricing, and planning.
- Setting up essential selling tools prior to each Wholesale market.
- Maintaining accurate product information on the Wholesale IT system, processing seasonal updates, and utilizing reporting tools for data accuracy.
- Helping to raise purchase orders (POs) by reviewing costs, managing supplier deadlines, and coordinating with the Merchandiser on priorities.
- Logging and tracking all POs raised.
- Compiling seasonal collection notes, buying guides, price lists, and other necessary merchandising materials.
- Collaborating with Buying and Sales teams to provide essential data for the Supply Chain team.
- At market closure, assisting in analyzing the department order book and raising all necessary POs for sales and strategic stock purchases.
- Liaising with suppliers regarding product orders until despatch.
- Performing general administrative duties as assigned.
- Managing and tracking all photography samples and market samples.
