Your responsibilities will include gathering necessary documentation, submitting files for underwriting, and clearing loan conditions to facilitate the final approval process for closing. This position is located in our office, either in Paramus, NJ or Houston, TX.
Key Responsibilities:
Efficiently process loan applications for submission to underwriting.
Collaborate with loan officers, borrowers, underwriters, closers, appraisal management companies (AMC), and title companies.
Scan and upload documentation into the loan origination system (LOS).
Communicate with applicants to resolve loan conditions and liaise with loan officers.
Review and analyze credit reports, income statements, tax returns, and asset documentation.
Perform additional duties related to mortgage processing or other tasks as directed by management.
Safeguard the confidentiality of client files.
Maintain professionalism under pressure and meet multiple deadlines while demonstrating effective teamwork and independent work capabilities.
