The Workstation Service Delivery Manager plays a pivotal role within the IT Infrastructure & Operations team, overseeing the complete lifecycle of user workstations and related services. This position involves managing diverse projects aimed at enhancing user device security, functionality, and overall experience. The perfect candidate will have a solid background in IT service management, demonstrated project management skills, and comprehensive technical expertise in workstation technologies.
Project Management
- Lead and execute various workstation-related projects, including extensive device rollouts, software deployments, and the integration of security enhancements.
- Initiate and manage efforts to bolster user account security and refine access controls across the organization.
- Supervise the planning and implementation of hardware refresh cycles for laptops and mobile devices to ensure they remain up-to-date.
Technical Operations
- Drive initiatives to improve the security posture of user endpoints by implementing stringent hardware-level security configurations.
- Act as a primary escalation point for resolving complex and widespread workstation issues.
- Administer and configure roles and permissions within the organization’s IT service management platforms.
- Engage in internal and external security and compliance audits by providing necessary evidence.
Service Delivery
- Serve as the main contact for all inquiries regarding the workstation services and support portfolio.
- Work collaboratively with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of IT services to end-users.
