Position Overview:
The Junior Analyst will join the Research Data Processing and Governance Team within StepStone’s Portfolio Management department. This role involves assisting in data processing, model creation, and generating analyses essential for investment research. Candidates should possess a foundational understanding of financial markets, strong Excel skills, and a keen interest in delving into private market investment concepts.
Essential Job Functions:
- Assist the Research team in conducting due diligence on new private market funds by developing track record models to analyze historical performance of private market fund managers.
- Classify and store characteristics of investment managers within StepStone’s proprietary database.
- Transform and uphold the integrity of data in StepStone’s database sourced from various platforms.
- Acquire a general understanding of concepts and terminologies within private market investments.
