Key Responsibilities:Oversee the development of ergonomic requirements while collaborating with global teams. Assist in defining vehicle-level specifications to enhance ergonomic performance (e.g., reach, access, intuitiveness, and ease of use). Conduct extensive research (benchmarking, literature reviews, user testing, virtual analysis, etc.) to provide strategic recommendations and develop ergonomic interface requirements. Engage with cross-functional teams to identify design limitations and proactively address challenges. Monitor issues to facilitate the ongoing development of ergonomic requirements. Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Ergonomics, Human Factors, Physiology, Biomechanics, Human Kinetics, Psychology, Cognitive Systems, or a related field from an ABET-accredited institution. Proficiency in CAD software. Three or more years of relevant engineering experience. Preferred Qualifications:Experience in automotive, design, or ergonomics-related sectors. Prior involvement with customer interfaces integrating cutting-edge technology. Familiarity with HMI and ergonomic specifications along with functional objectives. Experience with CAD Human Modeling tools. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clarity and detail regarding complex topics. Strong organizational abilities and adeptness at meeting deadlines amidst evolving vehicle designs.
