RemoteVA PH is actively seeking a detail-oriented and driven Junior Estimator with expertise in Light Fixtures and Controls to become a valuable member of our expanding team. The ideal candidate will possess a solid grasp of construction blueprints, electrical schematics, and lighting configurations. You will be integral in bolstering our estimating department through the preparation of precise takeoffs and assistance with bid submissions.
This role is perfect for individuals with a meticulous eye for detail, outstanding organizational abilities, and a strong ambition to advance in the construction and electrical estimating arena.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and interpret construction drawings, including reflective ceiling, electrical, and lighting plans.
- Conduct quantity takeoffs for light fixtures, controls, and associated electrical components.
- Assist the estimating team in creating bid documentation and cost summaries.
- Handle multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring high accuracy.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams to guarantee project coherence.
- Maintain organized estimating records and ensure timely submission of estimates.
Qualifications & Experience:
- In-depth knowledge of construction drawings and plan interpretation.
- Demonstrated experience in performing takeoffs utilizing electrical, lighting, or ceiling plans.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook required).
- Exceptional English communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of meeting multiple deadlines.
- Familiarity with Togal. AI is a bonus (training may be provided).
