About the job

At Rhoda AI, we are pioneering the development of advanced humanoid robots, establishing a robust full-stack foundation that encompasses high-performance, software-defined hardware, foundational models, and sophisticated video world models that govern their operations. Our robots are designed to function as versatile generalists, adept at navigating intricate, real-world environments and tackling scenarios that are not included in their training. We stand at the confluence of large-scale learning, robotics, and systems engineering, supported by a research team comprised of esteemed researchers from Stanford, Berkeley, Harvard, and other leading institutions. Our mission transcends mere feature development; we are creating a groundbreaking computing platform tailored for physical work. With over $400 million raised, we are making substantial investments in R&D, hardware innovation, and scaling up manufacturing to turn our vision into reality.

As a key member of Rhoda's hardware integration and maintenance team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our humanoid robot platforms. Your responsibilities will include developing and refining assembly standards, adhering to ESD protocols, assisting with debugging and rework, and ensuring that our prototypes and tested hardware maintain optimal reliability. In this role, you will report directly to the Technician Lead.

  • Devise calibration, alignment, and torque-validation protocols.

  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical integration challenges across humanoid robot subsystems.

  • Oversee inventory management, tool calibration, and the organization of work areas.

  • Collaborate with engineering on failure analysis, rework, and maintenance documentation.

  • Assist in system-level validation and ensure field-test readiness of prototype robots.
