Proficiency in relevant software tools, including Excel, estimating software, and project management applications. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

This position is based in Pomona, California, with a hybrid work model requiring in-office presence on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

We are actively seeking a Junior Project Controls Estimator with 1 to 2 years of relevant experience to contribute to electrical infrastructure projects for one of Southern California's largest utilities. This role offers the flexibility of working from home three days a week while requiring in-office attendance two days a week.

As a Junior Project Controls Estimator, you will be integral to the estimation process for diverse projects, collaborating closely with the Project Controls team, project managers, engineers, and other key stakeholders to gather essential information and create precise cost estimates.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the collection and analysis of project scope and cost data.
  • Supporting the development of project cost estimates based on historical data and industry benchmarks.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to review and validate cost estimates.
  • Preparing and maintaining documentation related to cost estimates.
  • Assisting in risk analysis and contingency planning.
  • Contributing to the continuous enhancement of estimation methodologies.
