Strong analytical skills with a capacity to interpret and analyze project data. Proficiency in relevant software tools, including Excel, estimating software, and project management applications. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

This position is based in Pomona, California, with a hybrid-remote work model requiring in-office presence on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR A JUNIOR PROJECT CONTROLS ESTIMATOR WITH 1-2 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE TO SUPPORT ELECTRICAL INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS FOR ONE OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA'S LARGEST UTILITIES. THIS ROLE OFFERS FLEXIBILITY TO WORK FROM HOME THREE DAYS A WEEK, WITH REQUIRED ONSITE WORK AT THE CLIENT'S POMONA OFFICE TWICE A WEEK.

In this role, you will be instrumental in the estimation process for projects of varying scales. You'll collaborate closely with the Project Controls team, project managers, engineers, and various stakeholders to gather vital data and produce precise cost estimates.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the collection and analysis of project scope and cost data.
  • Supporting the development of project cost estimates grounded in historical data and industry benchmarks.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to review and validate cost estimates.
  • Preparing and maintaining comprehensive documentation related to cost estimates.
  • Assisting in risk analysis and contingency planning.
  • Contributing to the ongoing enhancement of estimation methodologies.
