Responsibilities:Receive training to effectively set up, operate, analyze, monitor, troubleshoot, and perform routine maintenance on HPLC and LC-MS/MS systems. Complete a minimum of 4 batches of lab duties each day. Manage inventory of systems and equipment, participate in column organization, and prepare mobile phases and solutions. Maintain clear and accurate documentation, including creating, editing, and troubleshooting run sheets. Demonstrate proficiency with all necessary quantification software applications. Requirements:Prior experience with mass spectrometry is preferred but not mandatory. Relevant coursework in chemistry or a related field is necessary; a degree is preferred. A strong mechanical inclination is advantageous. Candidate should possess a working knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP). Basic computer skills are required. Bona Fide Occupational Qualification: This role mandates candidates to be non-nicotine/tobacco users, as the position involves preparing solutions that must remain uncontaminated by nicotine.

We are currently seeking a full-time Laboratory Instrument Technician specializing in HPLC/LCMS for our Bioanalytical Division, working the 2nd shift in Lincoln, NE.
If you have a passion for or a foundational understanding of HPLC or LC/MS/MS methodologies, this role may be perfect for you! In this capacity, you will conduct analytical assessments of samples utilizing chromatography and mass spectrometry in a nicotine-free lab environment.
At this time, we are only considering candidates who are local to Lincoln, NE. The starting pay for this role is $22 per hour, supplemented by a 5% differential for the shift.
