Qualifications
Responsibilities:Act as on-console flight controllers during launch events. Test integrated rocket hardware to assess flight readiness. Provide on-console engineering support for technicians during daily test and launch operations. Develop and review control logic and automation for test and launch systems. Conduct real-time and post-operation data analysis to evaluate launch/test article performance and recommend improvements. Innovate and optimize test and launch processes to enhance system capacity and efficiency. Identify potential system pitfalls and hazards and collaborate on solutions with design and production engineers. Ensure all operations adhere to safety protocols as the final authority. Perform additional duties as assigned to maintain an efficient work environment. Basic Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.1+ years of hands-on experience in build or operational environments.

The launch operations team is pivotal in pushing our hardware to its limits under flight-like conditions to ensure vehicle quality before sending it into orbit. As a Launch Operations Engineer, you will oversee the entire operational process, from developing test requirements and launch plans to integrating on-pad flight/test articles, conducting tests, analyzing data, and serving as the primary flight controller during launch events.
