As the Lead for Apparel and Accessories Testing, you will play a pivotal role in validating our products from the development phase all the way to market launch, with a particular focus on specialized, high-performance sports categories. You will thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment, partnering closely with Design, Development, Materials, and Strategy teams to guarantee excellence in the overall wearing experience, encompassing comfort, durability, and performance.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead Validation Strategy: Develop and implement rigorous testing strategies for durability, comfort, and performance, overseeing specialized testing programs. You will determine testing needs based on product briefs and target demographics, managing the complete testing process with confidence.
- Analyze Data Insights: Conduct qualitative and quantitative testing for apparel and accessories, perception studies, and real-world validation to ensure our products genuinely meet the needs of athletes and consumers. Merge consumer insights, scientific knowledge, and performance analysis into standardized, evidence-based evaluations.
- Facilitate Informed Decisions: Transform complex testing data into actionable insights that empower confident decision-making and enhance product excellence. You will interpret performance and durability data, including behavioral and attitudinal insights, and create detailed reports for stakeholders.
- Influence Product Innovation: Engage in hands-on performance testing, presenting critical findings and suggestions for improvement to key stakeholders. Provide benchmarking and competitive analysis to identify innovation opportunities and product differentiation in the global sports market.
- Enhance Testing Framework: Create streamlined testing processes, timelines, and feedback mechanisms that align harmoniously with Product Creation schedules. Actively cultivate a vibrant network of agile, high-performance athletes to support routine testing and urgent project needs. Organize engaging testing events and initiatives to foster deep involvement within the testing community.
- Optimize Operational Efficiency: Collaborate with testing systems and databases to ensure high-quality data accuracy and optimized reporting. As a leader, your contributions will significantly impact team objectives and process enhancements.
